A Shin Impala made it third time lucky yesterday evening at Dundalk when winning the 1m median auction race. He chased the leader throughout, was ridden to challenge 1 1/2 furlongs out, was upsides the leader inside the final furlong and dug deep to prevail by a head.
“He’s a horse that probably wants a mile and a quarter. He’s a big, unfurnished type. We gave him a bit of a break after his last run, and he should come on from it.” Fozzy Stack, irishracing.com
