Goodthingstaketime won her maiden on Thursday’s Del Mar card, having already secured black-type in the Group 3 Curragh Stakes in Ireland (pictured-right).

The daughter of Canford Cliffs made steady progress to race in fourth and angled out entering the stretch. She opened up a clear advantage and held on firmly to notch a 3/4-length victory under jockey Florent Geroux.

Twice a runner-up from four starts in Ireland she was imported to North America by connections (Sheep Pond Partners, Bradley Thoroughbreds & Tim & Anna Cambron) for the autumn racing season.

Goodthingstaketime is out of Holy Roman Emperor mare Addictedtoprogess and was bred by David Keoghan & Casey McLiney.
