Thursday saw Mass Gathering break her maiden at Naas for owner/breeders David Keoghan and Casey McLiney.

Ridden by jockey Mark Enright Mass Gathering broke smartly and raced up there throughout. Responding well to pressure two furlongs out the daughter of Canford Cliffs hit the line well winning by a head.

“She was good. She had a very good run (when second) in Sligo but I’d say the ground in Down Royal the last day was probably too soft for her and she also got a bit upset in the stalls there.

“She’s in for €6,000 to be claimed and she’s for free at that. She’s a nice filly and I’d say she’ll go on the all-weather.” Mark Enright

Mass Gathering was subsequently claimed after the race.
