Sirici stepped forward nicely from her debut run at Dundalk last week to win her maiden.

The Choisir filly had just been denied in a tight three-way finish on her debut seven days ago and went one better in good style.

Killian Hennessy produced Sirici to challenge two furlongs from home and sent her to the front inside the final furlong to record a length-and-a-quarter success.

“The owner had horses with David Wachman and thankfully David sent him our way when he retired.

“I’m delighted to be able to give Killian his first winner since coming back from England. We’ll step her up to stakes level now.” Fozzy Stack.

Hennessy said: “She’s a nice filly. We’ve always thought a lot of her and she’s an early type.

“She’s after improving a bit from last week and got the job done today.

“She quickened up quite well. To be fair it was a hot enough race and we didn’t know what to expect. She dug deep and you’d have to be happy with her.”
