Starlite Dancer battled well to get off the mark at Cork on Sunday under jockey Chris Hayes winning the 7f. Cork Handicap.
The son of Canford Cliffs was held up on the stands’ side, made good headway entering the final furlong and stayed on strongly to win.
“He had a couple of good runs last year and it’s good to see him get his head in front. He probably wasn’t badly in.
“He ran well at Galway last year and could go for something similar again.” Fozzy Stack.
Starlite Dancer continued a good weekend for the yard following a double at Naas the previous day.
