Sanosuke got off the mark at Tramore on Saturday when taking the Core Bullion Traders Rated Race for owner Toshihiro Matsumoto.
Ridden by jockey Mark Enright, the son of Galileo chased the leaders, took the lead in the closing stages and went on to win by a length and a quarter.
“He beat Ger Lyons’ horse (Right Turn) by half-a-length when they met at Killarney and they were meeting on the same terms today. He deserved that.
“He was a bit keen and it just took him a little bit of time to adjust to the track. He was a little bit in my hands and I just kept him off the chopped up ground.
“He kept at it well and it’s great to get a win to his name. I’m delighted to win for Fozzy because he is looking after me well.” Mark Enright.
